Ronald Villemaire, M.D.



Prior to medical school Dr. Ronald Villemaire was a systems analyst and computer programmer at IBM headquarters in Don Mills, Ontario, Canada.

He obtained his M.D. at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1980.

Dr. Villemaire in board certified in Family Practice and received his training at North York Branson Hospital, Willowdale, Ontario, Canada.

He was in family practice in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada until 1993. He moved to Stuart, Virginia and was on active staff as a family practitioner at the R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital. He was Vice President of the Medical Staff, Medical Staff representative to the Hospital Board, Chairman of the Medical Administrative Affairs Committee, member of the Quality Control Committee, member of the Intensive Care Unit Committee and Medical Examiner for the state of Virginia.

From 1997-2001, Dr. Villemaire was in family practice at Monterey Family Practice, 1010 Cass Street, Monterey, CA. Primary duties involved hospital inpatient management at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. He also established an outpatient family practice.

Dr. Villemaire has been a staff physician at Monterey Bay Urgent Care since 2001. He is presently the Medical Director at MBUC and remains on active staff at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.
